Three hot forces have combined - Grammy winning artist Shaggy, International dance and recording artist Bruck Up alongside Barbados Music Award Winner, Tarah, to release their hot new track “Sunglasses– Keep Yuh Shades On"

“Sunglasses – Keep Yuh Shades On” is an infectious pop, soca and dancehall fusion track, which was originally released in 2009 by Bruck Up featuring Shaggy. The management for Bruck Up decided to introduce the track to ....Barbados.... and other Caribbean markets and by doing, chose Barbadian artist Tarah for the remix.

In this track, Tarah is heard in a completely different light where she confidently raps over the track and adds a balance with her sultry and sexy flow – one similar to that of female rap artist Eve.

The song is currently heating up the charts worldwide and has been licensed to Malibu Rum for use in the brand’s advertising campaign.

As I grow in this industry as an artist, I am amazed at the knowledge I am gaining as a result of being exposed and being connected to the world in all aspects you can think of.

There are many mediums available to us artiste in getting out messages across, to getting our music sold and most importantly staying connected to our fans.

I have a greater and deeper respect for artistes and their teams who stay on top of the game and who are doing it well. I now know that it is not an easy task. It takes great minds and great people who understand each other to make that magic happen.

I want to thank personally all the great people working with me, who in particular understand me and the passion, I have for this art. I just want to let the world know that you are all doing an excellent job. I am finally seeing results and I know that in your hearts, you are very proud. I am bowled over.

Also to all the Djs in Barbados, Trinidad, across the region and the world for playing my music. I AM ETERNALLY GRATEFUL TO ALL OF YOU. To the producers I worked with in 2008, De Red Boyz, Dwain Antrobus and Anderson Armstrong for producing great tracks. I look forward to working with you again in 2009. Keep producing great music.

To my management led by Lia Gajadhar thanks for hanging in there with me, it was a trying year but we will conquer. To Selwyne Browne of Get Bizzy Studios for producing two (2) fantastic videos, Jaryd Niles and Lorena for taking beautiful photos and the entire Get Bizzy crew. Making of music video - Love De Carnival

Wow!!!! Another music video and I am especially grateful to ALL who worked around the clock to make it possible.

I stand corrected but I think that my team is the first to produced the first tagged video in Barbados. Congratulations to you on this big achievement.

It all started with producing the tagged for ‘Push Back’. This happened on November 9, 2008 and what freaked me out was we expected the tag to be completed in about 2 hours. We were wrong…..lol….it actually took about 4 ½ hours to shoot. The reason??? We were having tooooooo much fun and didn‘t care about the time. The dancers and I had a blast.

On November 29, 2008 was the shoot of ‘Love De Carnival’. The key crew members including myself reached location at 10 am. It was a long trek across sand, gravel, mud and grass before we reached the location with heavy equipment, food, makeup, clothing and other materials. The shoot for this song took approximately 10 hours.

Thanks to Selwyne "Get Bizzy" Browne and his crew. To Nicholas and Maurice luv yuh bad, my true inspiration to creating. Lorena for photography and Dance Machine dancers. To the people who played many roles that day, Lia Gajadhar, (Manager, Director, Makeup Artist, Creative and Artistic Person, Technical Assistance); Anthony Best (Stylist and Creative and Artistic Person, Technical Assistance) and Romel ‘Sanctuary’ Bennett (Song Writer and Technical Assistance).

Despite all the hard work we had lots of fun. Check out the behind the scene video where you see everyone in action. It is plain raw footage and you will love it.

Getting Ready for Next Video

Hey y'all, wad up?

First let me thank everyone from across the world for sending me so much love and for all the lovely comments about the video "All Nite".

Guess what???? I will be on set shortly for the filming of my next video. This one promises to be a wild one but lots of fun. The video will be released with a brand new track in early December and I just can't wait. Sure you can't wait either.

So just stay tuned for more updates as the time draws near.

However on Monday October 6, 2008 I worked on the video for "All Nite" and trust me, I had a blast.

My interview at BoomTribe tv on working with Dwain Antrobus

This was my first tv interview for the Crop Over season 2008 and trust me, I had a blast. At the interview, I was sharing my views on working with producer Mr. Dwain Antrobus on the album Feels Nas, which I am featured on. My track on the album is called "All Nite" written by Sanctuary and featured on the Bad Boy Rhythm which features the energy God himself Mr. Machel Montano feat Patrice Roberts on the track 'Tempa Wine'.

I am proud of the response this song has received and it is currently enjoying airplay on BBC1Xtra London, Canada and NY. Nuff respect to the local dj's for pumping this tune everyday.

Big ups to Dwaingerous for producing a wonderful track and Sanctuary for penning a great song.
